Compatibility Guide

Not sure which accessory fits your lights? Find your Govee model below and shop the right match.

Step 1: Find Your Model Number

Your model number is usually printed on:

  • The original packaging box
  • A small tag or sticker on the light strip itself, near the connector
  • Your Govee app — under Device Settings → About

Look for something like H705A, H706B, or H707C — the letter and numbers together are what matter.

Step 2: Match Your Model to the Right Accessories

Step 3: Understand What Each Accessory Does

Y-Splitter / Y-Connector
Lets you branch one power run into two directions — useful for wrapping around corners, splitting between the roofline and a porch, or covering more linear footage from a single starting point. Note: your Govee app will recognize one branch as the "main" line; the second branch mirrors it as a synchronized extension, not a separately controlled zone.

Extension Cable
Adds extra distance between your controller/power source and the start of your light run — useful when your power outlet isn't close to where the lights begin.

Signal Booster (Driver Module)
Helps maintain stable data signal and full brightness over longer runs, reducing flickering or signal loss that can happen as light strips get longer or more segments are added.

Still Not Sure?

We're happy to help you figure out exactly what you need — just email us at ezlightsgroup@gmail.com with your Govee model number and a quick description of your setup (e.g., "wrapping two roof peaks and a porch overhang"), and we'll point you to the right combination.
